simple smoothie ingredients

You wake up in the morning, hit snooze 3 times in 30 minutes and finally roll out of bed to realize that you’re about to be late for work. You have to do your hair, pick an outfit, get your notes and purse together, and then you’re left with no time for breakfast!

Sound familiar to anyone?

Mornings can be really difficult, even for morning people. Because of this, a lot of people skip breakfast – 31 million to be exact, according to the Huffington Post. If you are one of the 31 million then you suffer the consequences of that skipped meal.

Breakfast helps get your metabolism started each day. It helps energize your body before you start your day.

So, with the help of some friends at Durango Dental, we’ve made a list of smoothies that you can prepare ahead of time for quick and easy breakfasts to help get you moving each morning.

For each of the recipes listed below, simply gather your ingredients and place them in a freezer bag. Put the baggies in the freezer and you’re done!

All you have to do to make these delicious smoothies is dump them in the blender with your choice of liquid. Yogurt, orange juice, apple juice, milk, and coconut water are all great options.
